FIFA President to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- FIFA President Gianni Infantino will visit Uzbekistan by the end of 2018, the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

President of NOC of Uzbekistan and First Vice-President of Uzbekistan Football Association met with the FIFA head in Moscow.

The sides considered reforms in sports sphere in Uzbekistan. FIFA President said soon he will visit Tashkent to familiarize himself with carried out works.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, as expected, will participation in laying the first stone of the foundation of new building of Uzbekistan Football Association, which will be erected near Milliy (National) stadium (former Bunyodkor).

Milliy will become base for national football teams of Uzbekistan. The stadium will host important matches, including international ones.
