Feruza Khamidova Holds International Meetings on the Sidelines of TIIF-2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Feruza Khamidova held a series of business meetings at the CAEx Uzbekistan exhibition complex.

The negotiations with key international partners and investors took place on the sidelines of the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The participants in the multilateral dialogue included official delegates from the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), and the Eurasian Critical Minerals Organization.

In addition, the head of the agency held individual meetings with the top management of leading global sector corporations Orano Mining and Endeavour Mining.

The main theme of the negotiations was the large-scale strengthening of international cooperation in the geology and subsoil use sector.

The meeting participants reviewed in detail the mechanisms for integrating foreign capital and launching new promising projects within the territory of Uzbekistan.

Feruza Khamidova and the foreign delegates paid special attention to the progress of reforming the national legislation regulating the mining industry, as well as a number of other pressing issues aimed at increasing transparency and the investment attractiveness of the republic's mining and geological complex.
