Enterprises that pollute the air to be closed in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law, which introduced changes to some legislative acts.

Accordingly, amendments have been made to the laws “On Nature Protection”, “On Atmospheric Air Protection” and “On Environmental Control”, specifying the grounds for government bodies to make decisions to limit or suspend the activities of business entities, primarily taking into account the need to prevent the emergence of a threat life and health of the population.

The law comes into force on the date of official publication.
