Economy of Bukhara region grows by 7.2% in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Gross regional product of Bukhara region grew by 7.2% year-on-year in the first half of 2015, the session of local deputies said.

Industrial production rose by 7.5%, retail trade turnover – 4.2%, rendered services – 5.6% and agriculture production – 6.6% in the reporting period.

In the second half of 2015, it is planned to implement 844 projects for 427.4 billion soums, including 249 projects in industry sector, 305 projects – service sector and 290 – agriculture sector.

Within the localization programme, it is planned to realize 12 projects in five enterprises, which will allow to produce goods for 89.4 billion soums.
