Nukus to receive 32 new buses for city routes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Thirty-two modern buses will be delivered to Nukus to upgrade the city's public transportation system. The delivery is being carried out as part of efforts to develop passenger transport in the regions and in execution of the instructions of the President of Uzbekistan.

According to reports, the new foreign-made buses are being supplied by the FAYZ AVANGARD company, which operates passenger transport services in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

It is planned that the entire new rolling stock will be deployed on the intra-city routes of Nukus. The buses will be operated under a system of gross contracts.

The renewal of the bus fleet is expected to raise the quality and comfort of passenger transportation, as well as improve transport services for the city's residents.
