Drug dealer arrested in Turakurgan district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan arrested a drug dealer in Namangan region, the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs said.

The ministry said that the officers of the interior affairs body arrested 53-year old citizen of Namangan city in the territory of Turakurgan district of Namangan region during operational measures. Officers found 2 kg of marijuana in the bag of the drug dealer.

The criminal case was opened, and investigation is underway, the Uzbek Interior Ministry said.
