CSTO members sign memo on cooperation against drug trafficking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Heads of anti-drug bodies of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) signed on Thursday, 10 September, a memorandum on cooperation against drug trafficking, legalization of criminal income and financing of terrorism.
The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. On Thursday, CSTO anti-drug bodies’ representatives considered issues of joint efforts on fighting trans-national crime groups and their leaders.
The CSTO members also agreed to create basic educational establishment on training and re-training of specialists, participating in fight against drug trafficking.
