Commercial banks start to sell cash foreign currency

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 20 August, commercial banks in Uzbekistan began selling foreign currency in cash through exchange offices, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

“As part of the implementation of measures to further liberalize the foreign exchange market, starting from 20 August 2019, the commercial banks started selling foreign currency in cash through exchange offices,” the regulator said in a statement.
