Chinese Investors to Launch New Projects in Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese company Hunan Zhongwei Group Co., Ltd, led by its head, Chen Mingbo. The sides discussed the implementation of joint investment projects and the further expansion of cooperation.

During the talks, it was noted that the company is already participating in the implementation of major investment projects in the region, and the partnership between the Ferghana Region and Chinese investors continues to develop. Representatives of the Chinese delegation expressed gratitude for the favorable business environment and noted the growing interest of Chinese entrepreneurs in operating in the region.

Following the meeting, a number of investment agreements aimed at developing the economy and tourism potential of the Ferghana Region were signed with Hengtai LLC, a company established on the initiative of Chinese investors.

Specifically, agreements were reached on establishing the Foshan industrial zone, constructing a modern shopping complex, a new zoo, and a tourism complex in Ferghana District, building a five-star hotel in Margilan, and organizing the production of high-quality cement and construction materials in Uzbekistan District.

In addition, an agreement was signed with the private enterprise Hengii qurilish materiallari invistitsiyalar LLC to implement a project for the production of construction materials.

The implementation of these projects is expected to create hundreds of new jobs, strengthen the economic potential of the Ferghana Region, and increase its attractiveness as a tourism destination.
