Chinese Foreign Minister to visit Uzbekistan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on 23-24 May 2016, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
During the visit to Uzbekistan, he will take part in the session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
At the SCO meeting, the sides will discuss issues of further developing the organization.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the SCO will turn 15 this year. China will assist with other countries to developing pragmatic cooperation in the SCO to contribute to regional and international peace and development.
