Court Revokes License of Rayyan Kids Land Kindergarten

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Tashkent Interdistrict Economic Court has revoked the license of the Rayyan Kids Land private kindergarten, granting the petition of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan to apply legal enforcement measures against the educational institution.

The court ruled to annul the license issued on 13 August 2025 to the family enterprise for providing non-state educational services. Following the announcement of the ruling, the presiding judge explained the contents of the judicial act to the parties, as well as the procedure and timeframes for filing an appeal.

As previously reported by the Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education, the grounds for taking legal action were revealed cases of physical and psychological abuse of a pupil, alongside six other severe violations identified at the kindergarten.

According to the department, the incident took place on 24 June 2026, when a teacher subjected a child to physical and psychological violence. Following this, the administration filed a lawsuit demanding the revocation of the preschool institution's license.

Earlier, video footage capturing the mistreatment of children at Rayyan Kids Land circulated widely on social media networks. During the subsequent investigation, law enforcement agencies established that a 36-year-old teacher had systematically used physical force against the children.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Forensic medical examinations have been scheduled to determine the nature and severity of the bodily injuries sustained by the children.
