Central Bank hosts meeting with representatives of the International Finance Corporation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – On 2 March 2020, the Central Bank hosted a meeting with representatives of the World Bank's International Finance Corporation, headed by Wibke Schloemer, Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia.

During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of expanding mutual cooperation in the development of the banking and financial sector, monitoring and implementing existing projects with banks, as well as IFC assistance in the process of privatization of state-owned banks and the further course of its implementation.
