Captiva driver hit two-year-old child

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 14 February 2023, at approximately 4:00 pm, next to residential building 32-B in the Beltepa mahalla, Yunusabad district, U.S., born in 1968, while reversing in a Captiva car, he hit a minor pedestrian - M.U., born in 2021. This was reported by the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent.

The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in accordance with part 2 of article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (“Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles”).

An investigation is underway.
