Boxer Sulaymon Latipov advances to final of Youth Olympic Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Member of Uzbekistan boxing team Sulaymon Latipov reached the finals of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.

In the weight category of 46-49 kg, Latipov defeated Subaru Murata from Japan on points. Uzbek boxer won the bout with the score 2-1.

In the final, Sulaymon Latipov will face Rufat Huseynov of Azerbaijan. The bout will be held on 27 August 2014.
