Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — İstanbul Başakşehir salvaged a late draw against Trabzonspor in a Turkish league match, scoring in stoppage time to avoid defeat.

The first half ended goalless, with both sides playing cautiously and creating few clear chances. After the break, the match became more open and physical.

In the 66th minute, Trabzonspor defender Jerome Opoku received a yellow card. The hosts took the lead in the 72nd minute through Felipe Augusto Vieira.

Uzbek forward Eldor Shomurodov started the match and was substituted in the 75th minute for Nuno da Costa. Later, in the 81st minute, Abbosbek Fayzullaev came on and added energy to the attack, although he was booked in the 87th minute.

The equalizer came deep into stoppage time, as Davie Selke found the net in the 90th minute to make it 1–1 and earn Basaksehir a valuable point.
