Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abdulaziz Azizov, director of Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, held a meeting with scientists and experts from KOFIH, Yonsei University and Korea IT Consulting (KITC), the agency said.
The sides exchanged views on the emerging ecosystem of the innovative pharmaceutical cluster BioPharma City and opportunities to integrate science, education, research and development, technology and production processes into a unified system.
The participants also discussed the implementation of scientific developments in practice, the transfer of modern technologies and knowledge, the training of qualified specialists, the development of innovative products and the localization of production.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities to strengthen the integration of science and production using the experience of the Republic of Korea, as well as to the implementation of promising joint projects.
