The event in Samarkand focused on the results of privatisation in the region and new opportunities to acquire state property. Akram Egamov, head of the agency's Samarkand regional office, presented the results for 2026.

During the period, 193 land plots with a combined area of 22.4 hectares were privatised. The plots had previously been held under permanent use, lease or lifelong ownership by citizens and entrepreneurs. The total value of the transactions amounted to 4.3 billion soums.

The agency also put 99 state-owned assets with a combined value of 736 billion soums up for auction. Of these, 73 were sold for 374.9 billion soums. A further 62 state assets with a total value of 495.5 billion soums are currently available at auction.

In 2026, electronic online auctions also resulted in the sale of 807 land plots covering a total of 391.2 hectares. Another 635 hectares of land are currently being offered for auction.

Participants were briefed on privatisation mechanisms established under Presidential Decree No. UP-177.

Under the applicable terms, buyers acquiring state assets and land designated for non-agricultural use may make an initial payment of 15% of the property's value and pay the remaining amount in interest-free instalments.

The organisers also outlined current privatisation procedures, participation requirements for electronic auctions and opportunities to use state-owned properties to implement investment projects.

The roadshow has been held for the sixth consecutive year. It aims to inform entrepreneurs and investors about available state assets and the terms under which they can be acquired.
