Above 37 investment projects will be implemented in Navoi FIEZ

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.cm) -- Over 37 investment projects with participation of foreign companies will be implemented in Navoi free industrial and economic zone (FIEZ) during 2009-2010.

The overall US$598 million will be invested into these projects, including US$346 million of foreign investments.

The most investment projects (26 projects) are run by South Korean companies and five projects are run with participation of Chinese companies. Italian, Austrian, German, Turkish, Singaporean, Indian investors implement one project each.

High-tech and electrotechnical enterprises are a priority for free industrial and economic zone.
