Alyors Holding Explores Pharmaceutical Projects in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Abdullah Azizov held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish company Alyors Holding (Orzax) to discuss prospects for implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical sector.

The talks focused primarily on establishing modern production facilities, localizing pharmaceutical products, and expanding export capacity.

Representatives of the Turkish company also presented their vision regarding the development prospects of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical market and provided their assessment of the country's investment climate.

The parties separately examined opportunities to advance scientific and technological cooperation in medicinal plants, the production of pharmaceutical raw materials and probiotics, and the efficient utilization of local resources to manufacture innovative products.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to clarify the core parameters of the proposed investment project, organize the exchange of necessary information, and outline further practical steps to expand cooperation.
