A list of persons who do not have the right to engage in teaching activities has been approved
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan has approved a list of persons who do not have the right to engage in teaching activities.
The Law “On the Status of a Teacher” was signed on 1 February 2024 by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to the Law, the following persons are not allowed to engage in teaching activities:
- persons deprived of the right to engage in teaching activities in accordance with a court verdict that has entered into legal force;
- persons recognized by the court as incompetent or partially capable in the manner prescribed by law;
- persons with diseases that interfere with the implementation of teaching activities;
- persons registered in psychiatric or drug treatment institutions.
It is prohibited to employ persons previously convicted of committing an intentional crime for positions related to teaching activities.
