A Greek-Uzbek Friendship Society founded in Greece

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A Greek-Uzbek Friendship Society has been created in Greece on the initiative of leading representatives of scientific-academic circles and businesses of this country, Jahon news agency reported.

The main tasks of the society will support and deepen intercultural exchange, realize joint events of friendship and solidarity between two nations, organization of joint programmes in cultural exchange, organization of historic and architectural centers of Greece and Uzbekistan, etc.

Greek businessperson and president of European Profiles S.A Dimitris Bakolas has been elected as the chairperson of the society.
