A citizen of Tajikistan is arrested during attempt to sell drugs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 4 April, in Taylak district of Samarkand region, as a result of operational activities carried out by police officers, in the territory of Elipok makhalla, citizen of Tajikistan was arrested during an attempt to sell drugs.

Tajik citizen tried to sell 74.09 grams of opium for US$600, the Uzbek Interior Ministry said.

On this fact, a criminal case, under investigation.
