World Bank: The growth of the economy of Uzbekistan in 2022 will be 5.6%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - The World Bank kept its forecast for GDP growth in Uzbekistan at the end of 2022 at 5.6%. This is stated in the January issue of the World Bank’s report "Global Economic Prospects".

According to the bank’s experts, the growth of the economy of Uzbekistan in 2021 amounted to 6.2%. In 2022, GDP growth, according to the bank’s forecasts, will slow down to 5.6%.

The economy of Uzbekistan is expected to grow by 5.8% in 2023.
