Volume of market services reaches 12.536trln soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Total volume of market services by all kinds of activity in Uzbekistan comprised 12.536 trillion soums in January-June 2009, including 2.992 trillion soums of the rural area, or 23.9% of the total volume of rendered services. Compared to January-June 2008, the real growth of services was 18.5%.

The high growth rates were achieved in the following services: tourism -35.9%, communication and information, including services of information and resource centers - 31.2%, financial, including microcredit granting - 29.4%, repair of cars and other equipment - 27.5%, personal - 19.7%.

The following services prevailed in the structure of services: transport (33.8% of total services), trade and catering (16.8%), communal (13.6%), financial, including microcredit granting (7.4%), communication and information, including services of information and resource centers (7.3%).
