Volume of market services reach 10.8 trillion soums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-March 2012, the total volume of market services by all kinds of economic activity in Uzbekistan made up 10.8 trillion soums and in comparison with January-March 2011 the real growth made up 12.5%.

The high growth rates have been achieved in the following services: tourism – 35.7%, communication and information, including services of information and resource centers – 33.2%, financial, including microcredit granting – 21.8%, personal – 20.1%, repair of cars and other equipment – 19.6%, internal trade and catering – 14.6%, the State Statistics Committee said.

The following services prevailed in the structure of services: transport (29.5% of total services), trade and catering (19.5%), public utilities (14,7%), financial, including microcredit granting (9.4%), communication and information, including services of information and resource centers (6.8%).
