Uzmetkombinat produces 381,100 tonnes of steel in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Open joint stock company “Uzbek Metallurgy Combine” (Uzmetkombinat) produced 381,100 tonnes of steel in January-June 2013, which grew by 1% year-on-year.

The company produced 366,800 tonnes of ready metal roll. The growth rate made up 0.8% year-on-year.

Uzmetkombinat manufactured consumer goods for 21.3 billion soums in the first half of 2013, which grew by 6.6% year-on-year.

In the reporting period, the combine produced localized goods for 88.604 billion soums.

In January-June 2013, the combine used capital investments for 27.7 billon soums, the press service of the company said.
