UZEX turnover makes up 2.62 trln. soums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Total trade turnover of Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) made up 2.62 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2016, which rose by 31% year-on-year.

According to the press service of the exchange, the volume of exchange deals rose by 30% in the reporting period and made up 2.09 trillion soums.

Exhibition-fair trade platform recorded deals for 335.3 billion soums in January-March 2016, which rose by 45.25% compared to the same period of 2015.

The volume of trades at public procurement (D-xarid) rose by 13% in the reporting period. About 22 billion soums of budget resources were saved.

Corporate procurement platform (E-xarid) grew by 20% year-on-year to 96.7 billion soums. Some 26.3 billion soums were saved in the result.
