Uzbektelecom’s net income makes up 7.5bn soums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of Uzbektelecom joint-stock company, national telecommunication operator of Uzbekistan, made up 7.5 billion soums in the first quarter of 2009.

Revenue of Uzbektelecom comprised 63.1 billion soums in January-March 2009 or grew by 26.3% year-on-year.

Profits of Uzbektelecom comprised 9 billion soums in the reporting period, the company said.

Uzbektelecom’s capital investments made up 7.295 billion soums in the first quarter of 2009.
