Uzbekneftegaz carries out a number of works to save foreign currency by reducing the volume of imported products.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev signed a document establishing strong ties with local enterprises producing import-substituting products, according to which local manufacturers are given ample opportunity to operate enterprises in the system. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

In April-May 2020, the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department tests a corrosion inhibitor of a chemical reagent manufactured by GLOBAL HIM REAGENT (Kashkadarya region, the city of Mubarek) in order to prevent its absorption in natural gas production wells and technological gas treatment plants under exposure to sulfur and carbon dioxide.

During the test studies, the corrosion rate will be evaluated, and when a positive result is achieved at the end of the research work, the production of the chemical reagent offered by GLOBAL HIM REAGENT will be introduced.

As a result, a reduction of 340 tonnes per year of imports of chemical inhibiting corrosion reagents will be achieved, currency savings and support for domestic manufacturers of chemical reagents.
