Uzbekistan’s railway network reaches 4,700 km

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s public railway network reached 4,700 km as of 1 January 2026, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

By comparison, the length of the country’s public railway network stood at 3,500 km in 2000.

The network has therefore increased by 1,200 km since 2000, or approximately 34.3%.
