Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The latest day of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia saw the Uzbekistan national team win a total of seven medals: one gold, five silver, and one bronze.

The gold medal was claimed by Sevinch Rakhimova, who triumphed in the karate competition in the under-55 kilogram weight category.

Silver medals went to Gulshan Alimardonova (karate, under 50 kg), Ilya Sibirtsev (swimming, 200 m freestyle), and weightlifter Rigina Adashbaeva, who took second place in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total in the under-86 kilogram category.

The bronze medal for Uzbekistan was won by the national futsal team.
