Uzbekistan wins 34 medals at the Asian Indoor Games in Ashgabat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan won 34 medals of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, taking place on 16-27 September in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan).

The athletes of Uzbekistan clinched 3 gold, 5 silver and 26 bronze medals of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

Uzbek athletes won medals in such sports as national Turkmen wrestling and ju-jitsu, classical wrestling and track-and-field athletics.
