Uzbekistan U-19 clinches narrow victory over Japan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan U-19 claimed a victory over Japan in the second match of the international tournament Balcom BMW Cup, which is taking place in Hiroshima (Japan).

In the second match of the tournament, Uzbekistan defeated Japan with the score 1-0. Jasur Yahshibaev netted the only goal of the match on 48 minutes.

As reported earlier, Uzbekistan beat Poland in the first match. The match ended with the score 2-2. In penalty shootouts, Uzbekistan won with the score 6-5.

Uzbekistan will wrap up its participation in the tournament with the match against Hiroshima team. The match will take place on 13 August.
