Uzbekistan to Play Friendly Against Canada Ahead of World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbekistan national football team, preparing for participation in the FIFA World Cup, will play a friendly match against the Canadian national team.

According to the Uzbekistan Football Association, the match will take place on June 1 at a stadium in Edmonton, Canada.

Uzbekistan has been drawn into Group K of the World Cup, where it will face Portugal, Colombia, and the winner of the intercontinental playoff between New Caledonia, Jamaica, and Congo.
