Uzbekistan to Launch Fifth Industrial Park with Russia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russia and Uzbekistan are set to establish a fifth industrial park with participation from Russian companies, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said following talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to Manturov, Russian businesses continue to show strong interest in locating production facilities in Uzbekistan and expanding joint industrial initiatives.
He noted that the implementation of such projects requires continued support from Uzbekistan’s leadership, particularly for initiatives already included in the bilateral agenda.
Manturov also highlighted the strategic importance of Uzbekistan’s geographic position, stating that it enables jointly developed industrial sites to serve not only the domestic market but also supply goods to neighbouring countries with developing economies.
The industrial park initiative is viewed by both sides as a tool to expand production cooperation and strengthen broader regional economic connectivity.
