Uzbekistan to construct new cement plant

The project on construction of cement plant – Karakalpakcement – in Karakalpakstan was included to the programme of construction works for 2015.

According to the programme, the project will be implemented in 2015-2016. The capacity of the plant is 400,000 tonnes of cement a year.

In 2015, it is planned to use 3.8 billion soums of capital investments within the project, of which 0.3 billion soums will be used for construction and assembly works.
