Uzbekistan Showcases Pharma Cluster to German Investors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has presented its pharmaceutical cluster to German investors during an online webinar held on 22 April 2026, as part of the initiative “IHK-Länderwoche 2026: Zentralasien.” The event was organized by the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and partner organizations.

During the webinar, participants discussed the investment and market potential of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector, conditions for foreign companies entering the market, specifics of the legal environment, and prospects for expanding cooperation within the framework of cluster development.

Particular attention was given to the Tashkent Pharma Park (Bio Pharma City) project.

Information was presented on opportunities for production localization, state support measures for investors, and the overall business environment in the pharmaceutical industry.

Following the event, the parties exchanged views on prospects for further cooperation, implementation of joint projects, and expansion of investment engagement in the pharmaceutical sector.
