Uzbekistan scraps mandatory currency sales by exporters from 1 August
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Government of Uzbekistan scraped requirement for mandatory sale of the part of hard currency by the exporters from 1 August 2017.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures to stimulate domestic exporting enterprises” on 28 July 2017.

The resolution says that starting from 1 August 2017, the requirement to realize 25% of the foreign exchange earnings from the export of goods (works, services) by economic entities-exporters will be canceled.
