Uzbekistan Ranks Second in Fixed Internet Upload Speed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan ranked second for average fixed internet upload speed among five countries with comparable GDP per capita.

The country’s average upload speed reached 59.77 Mbps in January–September 2026, according to nPerf data.

For comparison, nPerf considered five countries with GDP per capita ranging from US$3,800 to US$6,500. In terms of upload speed, Uzbekistan outperformed Morocco, where the figure stood at 50.54 Mbps, and Indonesia, which recorded 47.41 Mbps.

At a speed of 59.77 Mbps, transferring a 1 GB file takes less than three minutes. This allows large files, including video content and backups, to be transferred more quickly.

An even wider gap can be seen compared with Vietnam. The average fixed internet upload speed there was 27.68 Mbps. At that speed, transferring a 1 GB file takes nearly six minutes.
