Uzbekistan Railways denies conducting tender for electric trains

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Joint-stock company "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari" (Uzbekistan Railways) has refuted reports in the media and social networks claiming a tender is being held for the purchase of 40 high-speed electric trains.

In an official statement, the company clarified that the circulating information is not accurate.

According to "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari," the sources publishing these claims rely on outdated information. While an announcement for such a tender was made several years ago, it is no longer relevant.

As of now, the company is not conducting any tender for the procurement of electric trains.
