Uzbekistan Produces 9.9 Million Tons of Vegetables in Nine Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2025, all categories of farms in Uzbekistan produced a total of 9.9 million tons of vegetables, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The highest production volumes were recorded in the Andijan and Samarkand regions, each harvesting 1.4 million tons, followed by the Fergana and Surkhandarya regions, with 1.1 million tons each.
In Tashkent region, production reached 1 million tons, while Bukhara harvested about 939 thousand tons. Other regions recorded the following volumes: Namangan — 719 thousand tons, Kashkadarya — 540 thousand tons, Khorezm — 492 thousand tons, Jizzakh — 371 thousand tons, Navoi — 269 thousand tons, the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 248 thousand tons, and Syrdarya — 256 thousand tons.
The lowest production volume was registered in the city of Tashkent, amounting to 854 tons.
