Uzbekistan plans to increase car production to 1 million units

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan plans to produce up to 1 million units of cars by 2030. Uzbekistan will invest US$1 billion in the development of the automotive industry.

As a result, car production in Uzbekistan will grow from 300,000 to 500,000 over the next two years.

By 2030, Uzbekistan is expected to produce up to 1 million vehicles per year. With the participation of 13 companies, an automobile cluster will be created in Asaka (Andijan region).
