Uzbekistan plans to attract US$155m EDCF loan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Government of Uzbekistan is planning to attract preferential loans of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) of Korean Eximbank.

Jahon news agency under the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekisan said that currently Uzbekistan is discussing attraction of new soft loans of EDCF at the size of US$155 million.

According to the agency, the resources will be directed at implementation of projects to such sectors of clean water supply, healthcare and geographic information system.
