Uzbekistan moves to 21st place in Davis Cup ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan moved two places up in Davis Cup ranking, which was announced on Monday, 21 September 2009.

Uzbekistan lost to Serbia 5-0 in World Group play-off last weekend. However, the country jumped from 23rd place to 21st in Davis Cup ranking. Uzbekistan has 1680 points.

Meanwhile, Serbia dropped a place to 13th place with 3,178.12 points. Spain leads the ranking with 33,882.81 points. USA is second with 21,495 points and Russia is third with 20,625.00 points.
