Uzbekistan loses to China in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan national football team was beaten by China in the penultimate round of the Asian qualifying campaign of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The match ended with a score of 1: 0 in favor of the Chinese side. Lin Gao scored the only goal of the game on 84 minutes.

In other match of the group, South Korea played a goalless draw with Iran. As a result, both South Korea and Uzbekistan retained the hope of qualifying into the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

On 5 September, Uzbekistan national team will hold last match in the group against South Korea in Tashkent.
