Uzbekistan lifts ban on the import of cement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Amendments were made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On the temporary restriction of the export of raw materials for the production of medical products and the import of cement products during the coronavirus pandemic”.

In accordance with the Government resolution of 23 April 2020, cement imports to Uzbekistan were temporarily suspended.

According to the amendment, the established ban on the import of cement products (HS code 2523210000 and 2523290000) is canceled from 23 May 2020.
