Uzbekistan introduces accountability for corruption in sports

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —  A new article has been added to the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, establishing accountability for corruption in the sports sector.

The law was signed by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The legislation applies to both participants and organizers of competitions involved in corrupt practices, as well as individuals attempting to bribe them.
