Uzbekistan increases prices for electricity

Prices for electricity for population grew in Uzbekistan from 1 April 2013. The growth rate made up 7.4%.
Uzbekenergo state joint stock company said that new prices for electricity were approved by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.
According to Uzbekenergo, from 1 April, the cost of 1 kilowatt per hour electricity grows from 104.4 soums to 112.2 soums.
The price for 1 kilowatt per hour electricity for houses, equipped with electric range increases from 52.2 soums to 56.1 soums.
Last time, prices for electricity in Uzbekistan increased on 1 October 2012.
