Uzbekistan increases gas prices for population

Prices for natural gas, realized to population of Uzbekistan, will increase from 1 April 2013.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, new prices were approved by Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan on 15 March 2013.
The price of 1 cubic meter of natural gas for population, who have gas meters, will make 139.8 soums compared to current 122.85 soums. The growth rate made up 14%.
The price natural gas for cooking and water heating for population without gas meters set at 241.85 soums per 1 cubic meter against 212. 85 soums.
Population of Uzbekistan will pay 1,121.6 soums per 10 cubic meters of gas if they use gas for heating. Currently, they pay 985.6 soums.
