Uzbekistan extends the period for replacing old driving licenses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Government resolution amended the resolution “On measures to introduce new models of a national driver’s license and a certificate of registration of a motor vehicle.”

In accordance with the amendments, the deadline for the mandatory replacement of all old-style national driving licenses and motor vehicle registration certificates has been extended as follows:

issued before 2010 - must be replaced by 31 March 2023;

issued in 2010-2012 must be replaced by 30 June 2023;

issued in 2013-2015 must be replaced by 30 September 2023;

issued after 2015 must be replaced by 31 December 2023.

Licenses that are not replaced before the above deadlines are considered invalid.
